I’m sorry I just failed to upload the picture. I edited it again, like this gradient
It looks like curves that move ever so slightly into and out of the wall surface, which are then used for sweeping profiles and ultimately a Solid Boolean Difference. Maybe the motion is controlled via equations, maybe by sampling a bitmap, maybe manually, can’t tell just from looking at the image.
It looks as though this would be easiest to make just by grabbing an angle grinder and going to town. No computation necessarily needed.
