I` am a beginner in rhinoceros and grasshopper.
I am trying to recreate a robot that looks like a dolphin tail fin.
I am currently recreating the vertebrae and intervertebral discs. The vertebrae are rectangular and the intervertebral discs are reproduced with ball joints.
I want to reproduce the movement of the tail fin by attaching wire ropes to the vertebrae and pulling them together.
I want to connect the wire ropes as shown in the fourth picture as red and blue. in the fourth picture the behavior is when the red wire rope is pulled.
I would like to know how to make the wire rope, how to connect the rope to the vertebrae, and how to make the vertebrae tilt according to the ball joint I have created when I pull on it.
