How to create a fork in Rhino

#1

Hi,

I am new to using Rhino, and was wondering, how do I go about creating a fork? I can draw the top (flat) part of the curve and extrude it. How do I go about creating the curved shape?

Thanks!

Have a look at the Flow and Flow along surface commands. Start the command and press F1 to see the Help file article. That should get you going.

Maybe others will chime in with other approaches.

I have developed a process for shapes like this. Its called the ‘Intersection Technique.’ You can see it in the free lynda.com video for my Rhino 5 course. Feel free to post images on how it works (or doesn’t!) and I’ll provide more feedback.
