What problem are you trying to solve?
Can you post a sample file please?
One approach might be to Mesh your surface with the density you need, turn the mesh pointa on, select them and run Extract Points.

for the igs boot file-when i project curves to make a sandal part then make the part the part’s edges are not smooth-converting file to 100 x 100 control points fixes the problem
Unfortunately, the rendered image hides the surface structure of the file.
Please post the 3dm file.
