How to constrain the _BlendCrv curve on the surface

I’m not sure you can, I usually use Pull to pull the blend back to the surface after.

It’s fairly easy to make a nice blend curve on surface. Here is a quick tutorial of the method I use for similar cases. Note that pulling a basic blend curve on a surface may result into a slightly distorted output curve, whereas the curve intersection shown in my video has a smooth shape based on the extended lofted surface.
