How to configure Rhino's shader to look similar to ALIAS shader

Hi. I would like to find a way to work with a similar type of shader (material) like Alia’s default shader while I model in shaded view.

Rhino’s default shaded view lacks of contrast and its not easy to focus on details compared with the Alias default shader. Here you can see it.

Is there a way to configure this?

Hello - you can set a different environment map and intensity in the display mode, here:

One from the EMap folder

C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Localization\en-US\Environment Maps\brushed_silver.jpg

(in the US)

might work OK.

But you can no doubt find others that match your screen shot better.

Your welcome. You can tweek things as you need . The settings I have seem to work well for me but you may want to adjust things a bit to your liking.
