How to close the gaps in my pattern?

I am new to Gh, so i’m still figuring everything out.
I have a pattern and managed to fold it along two curves, but in the pattern there is a gap between the rows, so they are not actually connected to each other. So my question is how I can close these gaps.

I would also like to shift the different rows relative to each other, so that it actually forms a kind of staircase shape. However, I am unable to move each row separately. Could someone help me with this?

One solution is to put the circles (or whatever shape) on a surface, then extrude them them use them to cut a wall.
