The below warning interrupts every Rhino or Rhino project startup until I close it. I once installed the plugins but don’t use them. Though the warning indicates that they aren’t installed Rhino won’t start until I close the window. I’d like to get rid of this unnecessary interruption
Hi @djhg this seems to happen when you open a Grasshopper definition that contains those VisualARQ components before VisualARQ is loaded.
(You will prevent this dialog from appearing if VisualARQ loads when you open Rhino. This can happen if you launch VisualARQ from the desktop icon, or if leave the Level Manager open the last time you closed Rhino.)
In order to solve this problem, we need to reproduce it. Does that happen when you open a specific file? can you share it? what Rhino and VisualARQ versions do you have? Is VisualARQ loaded when you launch Rhino?
Thanks Francesc, but actually disabling Va is the only way to prevent that window from interrupting startup. It doesn’t seem to matter if the Level Manager is open or not the last time Rhino was open (or whether any of the F3 panels are open or not). It happens every time I open Rhino with Va enabled, whether launched from the desktop icon (either choosing a template or not) or from double-clicking on a project in the browser.
Thanks @djhg. But does it happen when opening Rhino from a specific file? Do you have a custom template set to open when Rhino starts?
It happens no matter how I open Rhino, as long as Va is enabled:
Double-clicking on desktop icon and choosing any (Va or Standard Rhino) template.
Double-clicking on desktop icon and choosing no template.
Double-clicking on any specific project in browser.
Double-clicking on .exe file on system drive.
It happens with every way of launching Rhino that I have tried, unless Va is disabled, in which case it never happens.
