How to carve straight lines

I’m new and I’m going to clean a 3d model.

  1. I need to know how can I carve these straight lines.
  2. I’d like to know how to clean the fillets. Is there a webpage where I can learn to clean up fillets?

Hello- it is hard to see quite what you want here - do you want to move the edge of that fillet or bend or cut that entire part? What fillets do you want to clean up? Better to post an example file…

Hi Pascal, thanks for your help. here is the part.

  1. I need to carve the straight lines. (You can see 2 lines in the picture, but this part is symmetry and there are 4)

  2. I’d like to know what is the best way to correct all the fillets.

Here is the part.

Hi Ben - from what I can see, the surfaces in that object are degree 1 and faceted - pretty unusual, do you know where this came from? If I understand what you want, I do not see a better way out than re-constructing the surfaces as curved, using the existing as a reference.

Thanks, Pascal. I’m reconstructing the model.
