How to calculate area in Meter instead of centimeter?

Hi there is there a way to calculate the area in Meters instead of centimeters or milimeters?

The area is computed in terms of the set document (model) units. Simple change them or if you don’t want to do that, multiply the cm^2 by 0.0001 to get the area in m^2.

If you run the Area command before you select any geometry, you will be able to change the units:

The Volume command does the same thing;
Preselected object uses current Units.
Post object selection shows command options.
