When working with Rhino 8 on MacBookPro The SVG editor is a mystery to use. I pick colors and it doesn’t do anything…it sort of sucks…or more than likely, its me… ha ha. Are there videos on how to make custom icons or importing custom icons to the SVG editor…so far, for me, I don’t get it.

Are you drawing svgs from scratch?
Currently the svg editor cannot edit existing Rhino icons.
You should be able to add stuff to existing icons though, and change the colors for any new item you add. Colors of things you have drawn and are selected can be changed. Note that for full color the default is transparent, so when you change the color of a fill you will need to change the alpha as well.
