How does one delete a post?

I can’t see how to delete this post.

You can delete your own posts, just not entire topics.

At the bottom of the post, press the ... more icon. A trash can icon will appear, click on it. You will see the message above. The post will disappear in 24 hours.

Thanks Mitch, I tried with my own reply to this post. this function looks reasonable…at list partial delete is possible.
I am super frustrated regarding this issue last few days.

At list few things I can delete without changing text of my post.
