I realize this is an incredibly basic question, but I can’t turn up documentation or tutorials that answer my questions. I have lights in a model, and I want to adjust them: move them around, change their directions, add them, delete them, etc.
I can’t figure out how to get lights to display in my views so I can select them and edit them, how to select an individual light, or how to delete an individual light.
I see lights in the Lighting panel, but clicking them or right-clicking them doesn’t seem to be of any use.
This is so basic I can’t believe I can’t figure it out. But I’m stuck. Any help appreciated.
HI Chris - apart from the Lights panel, there is the SelLight command, and the Light filter in the selection filter -( Filter pane in the status bar). Whether or not lights show in the viewport is dependent on the display mode- the Display panel has some quick controls, including the showing, or not, of lights in the active viewport’s current display mode.
