How do I sort the file type list in SaveAs or Open dialogs?

It seems that whenever I want to import or export a model the type I need is at the bottom of the list and requires scrolling to reveal. STP & STL are important to me and I would move them to near the top of the list if possible.

@JohnM, any chance you can resurrect the file order plug-in from ages ago? Is that still around someplace?

So… apparently, there is no way to change this now, sorry.

Thanks… Hopefully this can be addressed at some point. It is a long… rich list and I am grateful for that.

I work on that dialog now Pascal and no it isn’t currently possible. This is something that can be tuned up in V6.

Any updates for this ? I would also like to move Rhino 5 to the top of the list so it is defaulted to rhino 5 from rhino 6

I have not heard any more about it but I think the macro I posted in a similar thread may ‘fix’ it in your particular case-
