Is there a way to offset a curve away from a mesh similar to how the OffCrvFromSrf node works?

You can take the control points search the closest point on the mesh and use the normal in Point Deform.

Sorry but I wasnt able to post a script. I have just my phone.
In order to get the mesh normal you could use another mesh component. It is near the other components in the mesh tab. It will give you the mesh normal. Beware you must input a MeshPoint and not a point.
what is the last component there?
