I have a surface. This surface is a shell roof of an open-air hall. I want to assemble the roof from a honeycomb structure and already have a volume of one segment.
Can someone help me to arrange the volume on the surface so that all volumes are connected to each other. They should at least be connected to each other on the underside and possibly merge.
I have already tried a few things and watched many tutorials on hexagonal cells on surfaces. Unfortunately, they don’t work properly with my surface.
The hexagon (see screenshots) must not consist of some layers, it could also be one volume.
The surface can also change slightly, the main thing is that the roof consists of hexagons that are one volume (thickness of 0.3m).
Could someone please help me?
It is for a project at my university which I have to do till this weekend, but we have never worked with grasshopper
I would be very grateful and also pay you a little bit money for professional help.
