How do I activate my copy of Penguin?
@LeslieDeanBrown
You can register it (https://www.rhino3d.com/register should work also with PE20 licences), but there is no mandatory validation (as with Rhino 5 licences).
That’s good to know.
@Rodri I think though that I am still using the trial version.
All renders (not in the viewport) are rendering with horizontal lines.
I did purchase a legitamate copy of Penguin 2 days ago, although the serial number did not work correctly with the download link I was given.
I got it from a CAD international here in Australia. They are offering to send me the DVD, but I am not sure what to do because my main 2 computers do not even come with a DVD drive…
The trouble I was having was that the license I was given appeared to contain twenty-four digits like this:
X-XXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXX (obviously I am not going to post my real serial number here)
And the download link has a format like this: PE20-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
So it doesn’t match up.
What to do?
You should never need to use the serial number (X-XXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXX) , but only the licence key. Send me the code on a private message and I can find your licence key (PE20-xxx)
Done.
Awesome!
That was super-quick!!
I’m trying it out now. Looks like it is actually very powerful tool.
I have read the manual.
I think it will be excellent for me because there are enough parameters to manipulate without getting way too complicated…
And it seems to give exactly the effects I am looking for, but I need to experiment with it.
Thanks once again,
leslie
