perhaps a viable option is to adjust seams of the curves? Seems less difficult than rotating them?

thing is: the curves are rotated and need to be rotated back around the point in the file with an unknown angle

Until now I can apply your rhino code :). The Galapagos component is amazing. However, the loop is still a problem.
