I am following a tutorial. I followed how the model was created, but I do not know how to create this line schematic of the model. Somehow the model is rendered in line form (like a toon render) and those render lines are saved as curves. How can I do this? Thanks
I think you’re asking about the Make2D command
Excellent! Thanks John…I am a newbie, and didn’t yet know that such a command existed. It’s like magic…hehe.
Download and skim through the User’s Guide from the Learn page on the Rhino Web site.
That will give you a good overall understanding of Rhino modeling tools.
Don’t stop at the headphone tutorial.
Keep going
I will. Over the months I have been teaching myself Modo…by no means an expert, but I think I have gotten the hang of that app (at least the modeling tools). Now, I am onto Rhino and I am digging it. I have a 2d illustration background, and Rhino seems more natural to me: building things through drawing curves.
Thanks again.
Hi,
at the command manu write : make2D then select objects to create 2d curves then on the pop up menu choose the plane.
Second way is that ; on the corner of all the screen has a slide menu arrow , click the arrow and choose a display mode , there are two style like you want Pen and Artiitic . But keep in mind this way just creating a visual curves not a real.
