Horizontal frames divisons

Hi there ,

I am creating a normal brick wall ( not a fancy parametric wall ; its just a wall with only stretchers ) so i did it by creating a surface and then divided it using contour which works perfect because I can add the distance regarding the mortar. However when it comes to the vertical divisions ; I am using Hframes which only specifies the number of segments not a formula. How can add the number of segments but also offset them so i can take the mortar in consideration any ideas ?
