Hm, that’s about all of them… did you by chance have another instance of rhino running?

Running, no.
I have RhinoWIP installed.

update: On this PC I’m with Windows 7 if it’s relevant.

rfollett
the https://discourse.mcneel.com/uploads/short-url/yclnkuaAXCw1YEEJzD0Q3yyRezq.rhi download provided does not install as it ask “how do you want to open this file?” Any thoughts? Older version “holomark2sr1.rhi” works fine.

Any help is appreciated

Had this problem to, the solution is somewhere here, would be nice to be able to pin things like that.

The solution I got was that you just have to add the file extention ‘.rhi’ on the end of the file name.
Just rename the file and add ‘.rhi’.

I understand that some people do not have file extensions automatically shown in their file explorer, so they don’t realize the file extension is missing.

That did it!
Wow :star_struck:
 Thanks

Thanks for giving us this useful tool! I benchmarked my Pc (i7 6700k w/ Gtx 1080 i built it about 4 years ago) and my dad’s PC which i built on december (Ryzen 3900x w/ Quadro P4000) I built my computer for gaming and regular use and my dad’s as a workstation but i see that mine has better fps than the quadro is that normal?

Also my runtime was 971.15 seconds while my dad’s was 677.44. I noticed on high end benchmarks such as jeff’s that they have greater runtimes, i thught the built i did for my dad would be superior than mine as It has a Samsung 970 PRO NVME, Quadro p4000, Ryzen 3900x, MasterLiquid ML360R and mine has a regular ssd, no water cooling and i7 6700k with 1080 gtx. Am i missing something?

Anyways here’s the results i got.

Come on, guys, don’t keep it to yourselves, show us your secret GeForce RTX 3090 Holomark scores!

@alistair.munro, one question. Did you order your 3080 on day one? Because I did and I don’t have it yet. The shop says they have no idea when they’ll get more.

An RTX 3080 with 4095 Mbyte of VRam?
Something seems fishy to me…

I am the fish!

Holomark checks in the windows registry and that part that I used is probably so old that it is 32bit compatible. I don’t know where to look for the true Vram amount though, so if you find it then please shout out

Which Registry key are you looking at? And what data type are you storing it into?

There are two keys that NVidia uses:

HardwareInformation.MemorySize - 32bit value
HardwareInformation.qwMemorySize - 64bit value

…but you have to be looking in the right place.
