Hi @Holo ,
where can I download latest release to test with Rhino 7?

I just installed “Holomark2_R6_2” from post 2 but I get an error

It installed fine on R7 but it just stops where you have multiple minis being copied. The first time it stopped at 4 minis and GPU test 4 and when I ran it again it stopped at 4 minis and GPU test 6.

RTX 3060, B550i, 32GB RAM @3600, Ryzen 5800x (latest release on all software/OS).

It happens to me on RH7 too, I think it needs to be worked on, It works on another machine

Hi,
just benchmarked my system with Ryzen 5800X CPU and Radeon RX6800.
Seems these are not really top of the line results…

Actually your CPU score is the highest I’ve ever seen beating 59xx and the threadrippers.
Also if you run Holomark on RH6 you will get substantially higher results.

I think my machine isn’t good Enough :pleading_face:

Try Running it on Rhino 6 and your score will exceed 350,000. also if you have V-Ray installed, disable it.

So the GPU is not that important for performance in Rhino?
I just wondered why others have reached far better overall scores. Didn’t attention the CPU score.

@BauerNaval GPU is helpful for the viewport moment and the more complex the model the more powerful GPU you’ll need

Your GPU is top of the Line, just try running it on RH6 and you will likely see 350,000 to 450,000

I’m sure there’ll be a better version of HoloMark for Rhino 7 and later when @Holo gets around to put the finishing touches on it (:

Hi,
I’ve run Holomark on R6, just Section Tools installed, no Vray or anything else.
But the score is just litle higher than on R7. Graphics driver was just updated this morning, think I will search for an professionel version instead of the gaming driver and retry.

Edit: My Monitor is an Dell 49" Ultra Wide with resolution 5120x1440.
That might make a difference compared to normal 28" or 30 " monitors.

Although I’m not that familiar with AMD Cards, I can see the score is comparable to a 2080TI or RTX 3070. which is considered super high-end. maybe some driver update or some windows optimization can give you the extra performance for your hardware. for me the increase in memory frequency to 3200 mhz added to my GPU score. not sure why but seems working.

R6 score is a bit better ( I know I have a problem with my ram Timing,I’ll upgrade it later and check again )

MM but it says I have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU - 4095.0 MB but the Gpu vram is 8Gb not 4

Don’t worry about that. The way the RAM amount is retrieved in HoloMark doesn’t always work.

Hi guys, sorry for being so super-absent. I’m running 3 projects on the home renovating area during weekends and a bit overloaded during workfays too, just started our biggest project yet, so Holomark has to wait a bit more, but it will arrive eventually! Thanks for stepping in for me Nathan!
