Holomark 2 Released!

The 1070 is surprisingly much lower than 980 which scored 58000 in the following post.
The brand new Titan X Pascal only got 42000 in one of the previous post.
What’s happening with pascal based cards?

Why is the CPU score of 6700HQ so horrible :< It’s even much lower than i7-6650U’s 13340 on Surface 4 Pro. Something wrong with UDT.
Tested 6700HQ on a All-in-one at uni, CPU benchmark seems more reasonable.

Unfortunately the results are not text-searchable.

I’m in the process of getting myself a Graphics Card, and I would benefit from analyzing these data in a Excel sheet.

I suggest that anyone having posted their results here would post also the text version so its easy to “harvest” the text results for analysis, like I did in the other thread (“Holomark 2 scores searchable text results”).

Data + regex for data extraction included in that thread, here only a small screenshot of part of the latest results (Edit: Extraction R15 16):

So, if you already posted your results as an image, please post also your results in text format! (here or even better, in the other thread)

Attention: Also try not to change anything in the text produced by Holomark because then it gets difficult to find matches with Regex (regex isn’t as smart as program code in considering alternative scenarios).

I just built myself a new pc. way back when this thread first started I posted my score of my old computer. my score was always 28-30k. here is my new one. check out gpu test#16. that is a crazy # of units lol

Jeez… that would have taken a hell of a long time… Holomark2’s lack of futureproofing is showing… must be an immature programmer that made it!

Haha, cant wait a new benchmark for rhino 6. You could make it better and sell it. I will buy it for sure!

Surface Book w/ Performance base.

with a 4K external monitor (while laptop display used as second monitor):

using it standalone (no second monitor):

Macbook pro 2015 15" running Windows 10 in bootcamp with GeForce 750m.
4XAA on battery:

No AA on battery:

Cabled power, max power settings, no AA:

And finally Cabled power, max power settings, 4xAA:

So it seems this older nVidia card doesn’t benefit on the GPU_16 RenderSpeed test from turning off AA.

Finally got my overclocks dialed in.

NICE! Core speed for the win!

very nice, this may very well be the highest score ever posted here!

@thompsonburry
do you know why it says “GTX 1080 - 4095.0 MB” although the card hat 8GB?
is rhino only able to make use of 4GB vram max?

I actually didn’t notice the 4095.0 MB. Seems strange. The user a few posts above mine jimc also has a GTX 1080 reading 4095.0 MB, is this the case with the larger quadros as well?

Yeah, this is something I have to revisit for the next Holomark. It just pulls the data from Windows, so why it shows up as 4095 (And not 8192 or at least 4096) is currently not something I know.

here my system with an RX460:

but because I want to be able to utilize cycles in the wip, I just swapped it against a GTX1060-6GB (Zotac AMP):

Lenovo Yoga 900 running Windows 10 with 4K external monitor and 4XAA. Laptop display driver is set at 3840 x 2160 but Rhino 5 sets display resolution to 1536 x 864 which seems conservative. Are others seeing this much downgrade with a 4K display? Rhino 6 WIP uses the full screen resolution which is one of its new features.

Seems like my CPU score is quite low, especially (UDT) score. Any reason what’s causing it?
Please help! Thanks in advance.
