History: Can I attach objects to existing objects?

Hi.
I know how you can use grasshopper for this. but is there a more convenient solution within rhino?

Lets say. I #divide a curve with history eneabled, get points, and want to attach blocks or other objects to these points…
when move knots of the parent curve everything adapts…
is this possible?

Hi Anika - no, I don’t see how to do that in plain Rhino - you can get partway there, perhaps, using Flow or ArrayCrv with History recording.

I don’t think that is as sophisticated as what you’re suggesting though.

k. thanks. then ill use grashopper instead. i think autocad has this with its contrain options. thought it might be possible with history too.
