High Contrast Lighting Help

I am trying to create high contrast lighting where the object fades into shadows. I have turned off Sky, Sun, and ambient light leaving only a point light as my light source. The viewports show the image I want when rendered is selected. However, when I render the image, the back of the object is still illuminated by some hidden light source.


I figured it out. Apparently, when you select ambient light and set it to none you also have to set the multiplier to 0. I just assumed that none times 1 is none because you know…Math.
