Hide Ground Plane Visibility in Transparent/Reflective Materials?

(I’m new to rendering in Rhino and am currently using the default renderer). I’m trying to render a transparent glass/acrylic box on a stand using some basic lighting and a fixed wallpaper background. I have the ground plane set to only show shadows, and yet when turned on it’s still visible either through the glass or as a reflection on it - any simple way around this? Thanks for the help!

GroundPlaneGlass.3dm (19.4 MB)

That is currently not possible due to how it is implemented and the lack of control over ray visibility.

Okay, thanks anyways.

RH-67327 is fixed in Rhino 7 Service Release 16

Just to be clear, ray control is not added, that bug fix was something else I noticed and logged with the file.

RH-67327 is fixed in Rhino 7 Service Release 19 how about this @BrianJ ?

The fix is for correctly orientating wallpaper image files that include EXIF translation data.
