I have a while where operations like delete on a large number of objects are taking a long time, and running Audit shows that I have over 3800 “block definition objects” in the file. Does that mean 3800 blocks or 3800 bits of geometry in defninitions? Either way makes no sense, there aren’t supposed to be any blocks in the file. Where could they have come from?
Hi Jim - if you run
BlockManager can you see what you have there in the way of blocks?
Block Manager shows nothing. There may have been at some point in the history of the file, but that’s the thing. Now reopening the file does seem to make them go away.
