Hi, I think I need a border that split at each “scale’ pattern

But I’ve run out of ideas. I am trying to create a dinosaur egg-like pattern. I maped it on the surface and made the pattern no problem, but as I tried to make the inside slides( the same way I did for just a voronoi pattern) but it didn’t take all of the patterns. Only some of the shapes got a thing inside. And when I try plugging it into the voronoi node straight then the pattern turns to a rectangle and does not map to the surface.

I feel like making surfaces of each cell might help but when I plug the surface and the pattern nodes into curve nodes and then into the fit loft nodes, it makes one surface.

The next step for me is to make the pattern cover only 25% of the surface if that matters somehow.!

I think you tried to tell me to go to tech.mcneal.com but they told me to go back to the forum

okay thanks so much, I think I am doing it right. I think I need to [dupfaceborder] in Rhino and plug it into the curve node. (it gets the same picture) but to only like 15%of the surface do I reference in a curve and the surface split? Is there a way to do that in grasshopper so I can move the numbers around?

I don’t know if I interpreted your question correctly.
Unwanted intersections are formed with the use of Scale.

I used Offset but it has limitations.
Tolerance set to 0.0001.
I did not understand: “Is there a way to do that in grasshopper so I can move the numbers around?”.
