Hexagonal grid

Hi everyone, what algorithm would you recommend for generating a hexagonal grid in a circle?

This looks to me like a Möbius transformation of the hexagonal grid.
I actually just added to the latest Kangaroo a component for 3d Möbius transformations (and you can also use it to get 2d ones)
