Hi everyone,
I’m working on modeling a roof structure inspired by an armadillo using Grasshopper and Kangaroo for form-finding. The roof has an organic curvature and is supported by four trusses. I want to ensure the structure is optimized while achieving a natural tension-based form.
I’ve already made some progress, but I’m struggling with getting the Kangaroo simulation to behave correctly. My goal is for the entire process to be done in Grasshopper
If anyone has experience with Kangaroo and truss-based support structures, I’d really appreciate your guidance! Any advice, example scripts, or references would be incredibly helpful.
