Help with Fixing Polyscanned Meshes and Projecting Images in Grasshopper

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I’ve polyscanned my salt spray experiments and would like to turn them into meshes that I can use in Grasshopper. The OBJ files are almost perfect, but a few small sections are missing.

The main issue is that the salt spray texture isn’t showing clearly on the meshes. I have front façade images of the samples, is there a way to project or imprint these images onto the meshes to better display the surface details?

Ultimately, I’d like to use Grasshopper to extract data from these meshes, similar to what I did with a previous flat paper sample (for which I only used an image). My plan is to layer this one with two others in an axonometric composition to create a visual comparison that highlights the differences between them.

I’ve attached JPGs of the other two experiments. Unfortunately, I can’t share the OBJ mesh files as they’re too large. I have attached the GH file on how i created the flat image though.

Thank you so much for your time and help, I really appreciate it!

I have attached PNG versions of my experiments too incase this is helpful.

I managed to get this far i like it but i would love if the top two meshes had more dimensions and showed the creases i had in the orgional papers you know? (I did this just used the images and grasshopper script)
