Here is my Tech Support "check list.
When you send complete information, we will likely not need to email back for additional information which delays the resolution.
When emailing tech@mcneel.com, we always need:
- A Description: what is happening and what you want to happen
- 3DM file if required to see the issue (*SaveAs and delete anything we need to see the issue) If it is too big to zip and email, upload here and include the Forum link if you have one.
- a “step by step” procedure or screen capture video
(avoid doing a cell phone video. Use Quicktime or other screen capture tool.) - Current SystemInfo:
Open Rhino. At the command prompt, type SystemInfo command.
Copy and paste the text results into your reply. (do not send an image or picture of this.)
This will tell us the version of Rhino you are using, what platform you are running, driver dates, plugins loaded and more!
The goal is to help us duplicate the issue here.
