Hi, newbie here. I have a ring that I created by bringing in an SVG, doing 1 sweep rail, then FlowAlongSrf around a circle. I’m now trying to get the two ends to join together.
I’ve tried ‘JoinEdge’ but it gives me a strange result. I’ve closed the polysurface using PlanarSrf hoping that would help. Any and all help would be appreciated! ring.3dm (9.4 MB)
That object looks closed in that picture, yes. That means that you won’t be able to join any surfaces in that area.
While it’s fine to bring curves in from an SVG file, chances are that you will have to modify those to be useful in Rhino.
Please wait with using that command until you have at least 5 years of experience in Rhino.
I’m somewhat kidding but that’s not a command that you should be using…
Finally, please just upload the 3dm file - it will be so much easier for people to offer relevant advice.

Hello- given what you already have, the simplest is probably to ExtractSrf and delete all the faces in that area and create a new Loft between the open ends, then Join.
