I (somehow) followed this tutorial.
As an exercice I’d like to go a bit further by adding a nicer transition around the hole on the knife.
FilletEdge or BlendEdge fail, no surprise here.
Before going on the main model I want to sketch the method on a simplified version, trying to blend between planar surfaces and a planar curve.
And I’m stuck filling those holes with G1 (already acknowledged G2 is out of my skills/patience for now).
It’s a 6-sided patch and no matter how I cut it I obtain pointy surfaces or contradictory tangent directions.
SubD gives the overall look of what I’m after…
