Help tiling a twist: making a pattern out of a polysrf

Hi! I’m a print maker getting into gh for a project.

It’s been fascinating so far, but I find myself stuck. I made this simple cylinder with a twist, and I modeled the tile/pattern I want to apply to it (its a boob!), but I can’t work out how to apply the pattern along the curves. I can kind of imagine ways it could be done, but I don’t know enough about the individual components to figure it out.

I attached a picture the twist, the titty-tile array, a sketch of what it’s trying to achieve and the reference. Any components I should look into? I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!

I attempted to use bounding boxes but it’s not turning out right. Am I on the right track?

You can give it a try with Panelingtools to build this pattern

Thank you! I was hopping to use the tile pattern I modeled but I’ll give paneling tools a shot

Sure, you can use the tile pattern you modeled as the input option PO of Orient to Grid component,
