i imported dwg into rhino and exploded it. when i want to select things or zoom in/ out, it takes seconds to load. even crash and not responding if i want to scale things.
what should i do…

If that results in several tens of thousands objects as it often does, it’s normal behavior that Rhino will slow down. Some PCs (or newer Macs) might offer better performance but you should probably look into organizing the scene in such way that you can hide larger chunks of objects when working on something specific.

Generally, yes, hiding objects will help performance.

its also slow when i use hatch, same general issue? 
If there are enough of them, then yes. Especially hatches that are created from hundreds of lines…
