Help repairing a mesh

My Lamp.3dm (4.9 MB)Hello here, i’m on a 3d printed lamp project and i need your help to check if my model is printable and if not, helping me repair it

You designed that geometry but you don’t know how to tell if it’s printable?

Export the STL and slice it?

Your mesh has numerous naked edges. You can run the _Check command…

General information about this mesh:

Mesh has 47 degenerate faces.
Mesh has 2526 non manifold edges.
Mesh has 2 duplicate faces.
Skipping face direction check because of positive non manifold edge count.
Mesh has 179 pairs of faces that intersect each other.
This can cause problems if you’re doing mesh boolean operations with it.

Mesh has 3463 naked edges. Naked edges can cause problems if the ultimate goal is STL output.
Mesh has 77 faces where the face normal differs substantially from the vertex normals.
These normals can cause problems if the ultimate goal is for rendering or boolean purposes.

Can you supply the model before you converted it to a mesh and joined the pcs together?

It is often easier to make adjustements BEFORE the mesh is generated to ensure the result is a good mesh rather than to try and fix the mesh after.
