Hi everyone,

I would like to create a new Voronoi helmet design based on my existing helmet geometry, using the Grasshopper workflow described in _“Two conjectures on 3D Voronoi structures: a toolkit with biomedical case studies”_ by Lucy Todd, Matthew H. W. Chin, and Marc-Olivier Coppens (2024).

I have attached the paper and my current Grasshopper file, **Voronoi Helmet (2).gh**.

Would anyone be willing to adapt the workflow to my helmet geometry, complete the design, and send me the resulting files? I am looking for hands-on help producing the model, rather than instructions or a tutorial.

Ideally, I would like to receive:

- The completed, editable Grasshopper definition (.gh).

- The resulting helmet model in Rhino format (.3dm).

- A note listing any required plugins so I can open and use the definition.

Please let me know if you need any additional geometry, dimensions, or design preferences before starting.

Thank you for your time and help!

1. Is a Voronoi helmet design a good idea?
2. Your post reads like a paid job, not a informal help request between forum users.

Thanks for your feedback. I can see why my post sounded like a paid job request. I’m a university student working on an academic project, and I don’t have a budget for paid work. I was hoping someone might be willing to volunteer some time to help me complete the model, but I understand that this involves a significant amount of work.

Regarding the helmet, my aim is to explore a Voronoi-based design as an academic concept, rather than claim that it is already suitable or safe for real-world use. Sorry for not making this clearer in my original post.

I started with the 2 section curves and one rail curve as shown below: [image] However, when I use sweep1 then I am getting a pinch at the top point. After that when I mirror and offsetsurface then there is a gap between the mirrored surfaces along with the distortion at the same point. Can anyone guide on this aspect.
