Help Exporting From Rhino To Unity

Dear Rhino Community,
I am a Unity developer collaborating with a Rhino artist.
She is using Rhino with Vray Cosmos props and materials.
The problem is that when she exports the scene as FBX, most of the Cosmos materials become white. the material is shows as “Material_5.mat” and there is only a single material shared between all of the Cosmos props.
We made sure to include the materials when exporting to FBX (in the export settings) but to no avail.
Is there any way to include the materials in the exported FBX?
I’m guessing that the materials don’t actually get imported into her scene but rather being referenced as proxy.
If it’s any help in figuring out what’s happening, when she moves the Rhino file from one of her computers to another of her computers (both have a license for Vray Cosmos) the models still become white.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not quite sure what the bump etiquette is around here but…

@BrianJ may have some ideas for you-

Hi Zemer -

If this is limited to (some?) Cosmos materials, you’ll probably have to contact Chaos Group about this.

Thanks! I’ll try contacting them :folded_hands:

My guess would be that a referenced texture map in the material is not being found and/or the UVs for the object are not being understood in Unity.
