HDR Image lighting in raytraced viewport, issues!

Hello Good people,

I really love the hdr lighting in the raytraced viewport in the Beta but it has what I perceive as a bug. One can’t change the background color of the viewport without losing the lighting quality on the objects. This doesn’t make sense as I am generally looking for the lighting results of the HDR not actually wanting to use it as the background of my imagery… please see vid:

Hello - it should work to set the lighting (Rendering panel) to use the skylight and a custom envronment for lighting:
