Having trouble with trim

Where 2 fillets intersect a surface I cannot trim the part of the filletsexperiment.3dm (105.0 KB)
extending beyond the surface.
image. I have also tried the split command without success.

Hello - you can get this to work by

  1. Set the file tolerance much smaller - the bit you want to trim is .003 deep and the file tolerance is .004. Use .0001 at most, I’d say here.
  2. You may want to Untrim or RebuildEdges on the surfaces.

Thank you that solved the problem. A lesson learned for me as I had imported the geometry from NX and did not check the tolerance.
