Nice! The cord bundle was created with you manually creating a path or did you use any kind of simulation?

no simulation all modelling is made in rhinoceros manually i used sweep 1 rail with history then move the points

Keeping history enabled is a workflow that makes total sense and not one I would have thought of using. (Granted I rarely model anything complex directly in Rhino) But this is a great tip none the less, thank you for sharing!

Is there an image to curves tool in Rhino? I like making labels inside of Rhino as it gives me more control but it can be tedious sometimes

I keep a library which I have made for 3 previous models that I import as a layout and move things around so it looks somewhat different but I want to see if it can be done easier

Response to question which was misunderstood deleted.

I think this is more what I’m looking for

But can picture command do this? I’ve only used when I need reference images will have to explore them later thanks

I misunderstood you question. It looks like you want to convert an image to curves. Picture, etc is not what you are looking for. I’ll delete my post to eliminate future confusion.

use the command PackageManager, then search for Vectorize, that will create vector curves from images

I will try this barcode was a pain I had to take 3 breaks to finish it move scale move scale copy paste scale move scale move scale GAH!..:joy:

that looks intense, if you want to stick to the plugin you might want to chop it into smaller portions, the plugin is not that well developed and became extremely slow in rhino 8 (by feeling), i believe @dale is responsible for implementing it into rhino, though its not his code if i remember well so not all the blame is on him

Have you tried using the image as an applied decal texture?

The price paid buy worth it in the end makes a more interesting product shot…i tried putting random but it didnt look good

But if I can make my life easier im all for it :joy:

The reference images are not good quality also i like assigning materials to them which I can control however I like depending how it fits the shot which works on whatever position it takes

back and forward on image editing software is just not my style
