Gumball view mode, [viewport] indicator is needed please

I happy we have the view mode in Gumball. I was one of the users asking for it back in the day.
But! if it is on unintentionally, it can quickly mess things up.
So Please can we have a color indicator for the Gumball modes. it is not enough that it is written on the button at the bottom bar. it’s not “in your face” when modeling [impatiently ].
At least for this one option [the View mode] please add an indicator on the GB itself.

thanks a lot
Akash

what is Gumball view mode? i tried now to find something in the settings sorry if i am overseeing something obvious

In the gumball menu (this little ball thingy, or RMB) there are 4 coordinate systems to choose from. One is ‘view’, which means parallel to the viewport.

but from all the options, it’s the view mode that really mess things up if it is on unintentionally, [by using the Gumball mode toggle that circulate between the modes.]

ok i see, i have never known that exists in that form i must have ignorred it all the time, i checked v7 and there it was already. i now understand what the implications are.

@Akash as any tool out there you should always be aware of what you are doing, if something happens you have cmd Z… i personally would not need an extra indication. but just curious what would you use that for? it seems like a highly arbitrary mode which i would never use because its just visually with no precision other than for representation matters.
