Gumball Not Showing Up When Pasting From V5 [opened as read only file in V6] to a new V6 file

Minor issue which may already be known…I’ve been needing to paste multiple objects from original V5 files opened in V6 to new V6 files and the gumball does not show up when the object has been pasted.

The work around for me is deselecting the object pasted and then reselecting using Edit => Select Objects => Previous Selection and the gumball shows up.

Hi Jim - so far this works here - I make a box in V5, save the file, open the file in one V6 session and copy/paste the box to another V6 session with Gumball on. The pasteed box is selected and gumballed - Is that about what you are doing?
Ah… just noticed we’re in the Rhino for Mac forum… checking again.

Also working as expected on Mac…

Thanks Cal…further checking on this end…I was pasting into a new file in V6 that is created but unsaved. If I paste into a new file in V6 where I have saved it before pasting, the gumball shows up.
