Gumball Move Crash - RhinoWIP_5B48w

  1. Draw line
  2. Double click gumball move
  3. Enter value
  4. Hit enter
  5. Hard crash

I can reproduce in new model with just one line element. I do not have the RC installed so not sure about this issue with that.

Thanks, I see this too. Filed as http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/MR-2099

This isn’t happening in RC3 so that’s good!

What is happening in RC3 if you double-click a gumball arrow is that the little distance to move box comes up twice, one on top of the other. You can type your distance in the box and enter, the object moves, but the other box is left on the screen. You can type in it, but it doesn’t do anything. @BrianJ do you see that?

@ec2638 Normally you only need to click once on the gumball arrow, not double click.

–Mitch

The crash happens in the WIP if you only single click the arrow… so I filed it that way. The double numeric field would be a separate issue and I filed it against RC3 as well. Thanks!

Silly me…been double-clicking it! What a dummy… Thanks.

Had hoped single click would not crash, but as Brian said…same same either way.

Well, it’s good you did, helped us track down (and later fix) another bug! --Mitch
