Gumball menu ball faint ....how to alter strength?

I wasnt even aware of the menu ball as it didnt show up much or at all, searching on how I reposition gumball origin I then find that there is a menu-ball gizmo, as you can see, no wonder I didnt spot it .

How can one change its colour ?
