Hello,
When I model, I tend to use the controlpoints on lines a lot (along with snappy gumball) to create forms of measured length. However, the scale control on the gumball always covers one of the controlpoints on any line, like the attached picture.
I’ve tried scaling the scale control on the gumball to be larger, but it doesn’t give me the ability to select the controlpoint below without using the drag rectangle select, which isn’t reliable as it doesn’t work when there are unlocked objects in the background. This results in a lot of the move command, which isn’t inconvenient per-say, but it’s a little slower than just click and drag.
I was wondering if anyone knows any way around this limitation? Perhaps making the middle of the scale controller click-through? I know its possible to move the scale controlpoint handle by double-click, but then I have to move it back to get good snappy scaling when I need that, but I’d be happy if anyone has any solutions other than my current rotate view until background is empty and drag select controlpoint, or move command the line, and then move the other controlpoint an equal opposite amount.
I get that this is a pretty minor issue (if issue at all), but what little times saved really adds up when it happens often!
Thanks for ur time!
