I love the feature for grouping things but it’s a bit clunky (unless I’m not using it correctly which is probably the real reason!)
Trying to align grouped objects isn’t possible as it recognises all as individual items within and not groups as a whole? I’d like to be able to align the grouped objects but this isn’t possible at the moment?
Also I think it would be handy if we could lock a group so it can’t be selected, much like locking a layer in Rhino. I find myself having to select small groups of items individually if they are ‘behind’ a large grouped object and then bringing them forward. When copying and pasting a large number of items it can get a bit labour intensive as sometimes they seem to drop behind even if they were in front at one point.
Is there a way to do this already or any reason why there can’t be a Rhino style layering option with floating window?

It would also be handy if the group command would use the last selected colour and transparency!

When selecting more than one group, changing the colour only changes the last selection, not all of the selected groups… This is a little tedious.
