I am having trouble with adding additional points to the grid created with kangaroo2. According to the tutorials on youtube, the points should automatically attach to the grids surface, byt they dont. Below are my screenshots and screenshots from the video. Please help

Please post your Grasshopper file with the relevant inputs internalised.
You can internalise inputs by right clicking a component and clicking Internalise data.
Looking at your screenshot it is impossible to judge whether the three additional points coincide with some of the mesh vertices. If they don’t, try to move them exactly to a mesh vertex.
If you still need help, please post your Grasshopper file.
In this code, random points (and holes around them) are created before any mesh exists.
