I’ve created a surface in gh by the revolving command. When I try to use paneling tool on the surface to create a equal grid across the surface, somehow the result only shows on part of the surface. Can somebody tell me why is this happening? Thank you very much.
Hi @xshan
You need to set a reference point that makes sense in relation to your surface. Here I’ve set the mid-point of the rail curve, which gives a more even distribution.
Hi @Normand
Thank you for the reply. That makes a lot more sense.
However when I tried to open the file you uploaded and I’m seeing different result from yours.
Hi @xshan
No idea, sorry. Just tired to download the file I uploaded to makes sure that it wasn’t faulty in any way, and I still get the “right” result here. Is both your Rhino and Paneling Tools up-to-date? If yes, you could try and run SystemInfo and post the result here - it can sometimes give some pointers as to what is wrong.

Hi @Normand
I have rhino 6 and I just recently downloaded paneling tool. (Not really sure it’s the best version for rhino 6 or not) Here’s the result for SystemInfo. Thank you.
